Relax, Play, and Grow
I advertise for my private sessions and workshops online in various places . A guy saw my professional tantric information on adam4adam.com and contacted me online wanting to "hookup" with me on a personal basis. I was very flattered by his remarks, yet I did explain to him that wouldn't work for me. Those types of quick hookups do not really appeal to me much anymore, especially since I know what is possible in some extened play with a familar partner. His information mentioned that he is a partnered gay man, so I took the opportunity to mention that I have a tantric website with information for couples wanting to read about tantric sex. His reply to me was."I don't need a "session", I have been in a successful relationship for 30 years. We don't need any "help". ... and i acknowledged his remarks, with a ... Wonderful!
I thought about saying more, but I didn't. What I wanted to say was.
-Life is about learning and growing. Our sex lives are just one more place to learn and grow. If we aren't learning and growing some part of us goes dormant, lifeless, or dies off. ---
That's all I wante to tell him. But here is more of how I feel.
When we have a partner relationships that last for years... I image that so much more is possible in deeply trusting erotic relationships. Can you imagine the kind of learning and growing opportunities for ecstatic sexuality? Can you imagine what kind of expansion can we work on in our erotic lives? Can you imagine what kinds of things can we achieve? Well, most of us cant imagine. We are not aware of what ecstatic sexuality is.... We are not aware of what things are possible in ecstatic spaces. How are we to know?
So, we have sex, pretty much the same way, year after year. We rely on doing what work and we have always done. That is pretty good, but if you are like me you want more. For some of us, the same way gets boring, our interest falls, we feel less passion, and less motivation to "do it". Boring to be a problem. Variety outside of ourselves, and outside of our primary relationship can be a potential problem. So where do we go to learn and experience variety to make things better, more exciting, and more passionate?
For most of us, our erotic education opportunities have been limited to media and porn. So we objectify ourselves and wonder if we measure up. We are suppose to live up to standard of performance that seem unrealistic, unless you want to be a sexual gymnast. And this is our education?
What about lovemaking? Where do you learn that? What about other things too? Like- Mastering your sexual potential? Being a better lover or an amazing sex god?
There isn't very much information or education on how to be a better lover.... or is there??? Tantra is that place where you can learn and grow and bring more variety to your erotic life, while learning the nuances of lovemaking, and going on amazing journeys to ecstatic places.
