A Message From My Friend Dr. Sporty

HI!  Happy New Year to you!

This month it has come to my attention that January is the biggest month out of the whole year for your body to re-cooperate from dealing with all the stress,
Fast paced 5th gear of all the events especially from the last Month, December. When we think of December, really the holiday is almost the last thing we think of,
Due to the fact we have too much to do! Party, plans, buying gifts, got to be here and there. Oh answer email, return a call, decorate the house, fix, and plan the meals,
Invitations out. You get the idea here? To Fast people. Got to slow down, to 2nd or 3rd gear. The fact is we are human beings. Not robots designed for immaculate support.
 
With all the stress , and living last month in 5th gear , I have not found it surprising that most of if not all of my clients, friends , and family are not per say out of shape,
But more so out of state, with themselves. The body takes a toll on you and if you do not respond to it (Body Wisdom) it will MAKE you LISTEN.
 
The usually pride myself on getting enough rest, but a week or so ago I knew when I woke up that morning my body had not got enough rest. Thus, I knew I should set a
Nap for the day to follow. Not only to rest my physical body but also to have some insight meditation with myself. A reset mode if you like.
 
The more I hear from people I know this is the month our bodies need to have attention to , not only in the physical nature of toning with exercise , but on all levels with
Ourselves. Spiritual, Mental, Soul, and Body. We are and make up what we sew. Heard this before I know.
 
My posing position to you is just this. What are you doing to help with yourself on all levels? Of course you do not need to be or have a sport minded approach
Or the athlete body to achieve the peace and calmness in your being. Small simple steps .
 
It never stops to amaze me the wonderful power of just doing a little something, when you do, you re-create, re-generize, re-educate your entire being, just too
Be. Aaahhh. That feeling enhances your being; by sort of a little rest on all levels and attention... you create and stimulate your whole body
When doing this your central nervous system calms down, thus also stimulating your immune system. Thus, allowing healing to happen.
 
I propose to all of you to take care more so this month than that of any other month. You can still get the flu if you have a flu shot. Its not a definite
Shot not to make this happen. Remember here we are talking about medical science. You must do your part to help promote the better of
You.
